Short answer: the time that works best for you

Long answer: Having optimal light means starting your session either 30 minutes before sunrise or 2 hours before sunset. 

BUT...

Since your portrait session is completely customized for you and your life, you pick the time of day that works best for you. Your session's success is dependent on the energy you bring and graciously share with me. If you hate mornings, don't schedule a sunrise session just to capture the ideal light. Your energy won't be at its best. Unlike lighting that I can manipulate, your energy is much harder to successfully fake in front of the camera.

I am located in Austin, Texas. For over 17 years I have photographed families, babies, graduates, weddings, etc. in and around Austin. Although I have photographed clients in other states, most of my clients live in Texas and travel to Austin for their photo session. 

I specialize in bringing out the best in my clients by creating a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Your session is all about you and your vision. Don't worry if you aren't sure at this moment about what you want your photos to look like. After our visit, we'll have a great plan set for your day.  

Pricing Overview:

Graduate/senior-year sessions start at $575 

(I offer mini-graduate sessions occasionally) 

Family Sessions start at $625

Corporate head shots: $225 for one person, $175 each for groups of 5 or more

All sessions include digital photos/printing rights. My top tier sessions for families and graduates include digital photos/printing rights & include prints. 

To hold your date, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is needed, and I accept Venmo, Zelle, as well as personal checks.
